Meet Kitten Little!

Clarkey and I decided we each wanted a kitten - I wanted a tiny persian fluffball, and Clarkey just wanted a "moggy" (British for the kitty equivalent of a "mutt"). We haven't had any luck finding a purebreed kitten yet, but we did find Clarke's "moggy"! The ad in the paper said "Kittens - Free to good home", so we decided to 'take a look' (as if anyone can just go LOOK at kittens and not actually GET one - HAHAHA!). Two hours later, we came home with our "free" kitten, and I learned a valuable lesson - there's no such thing as a "free kitten"!! In the past 48 hours I've spent over $250 on kitten food, litter, bed, carrying case, scratching post/climbing tree, toys, shampoo, brushes, kitten milk, bottle-with-nippy, blankets, kitty treats, cat magazines... oy vey!! I need to adopt about five more kittens just to make this investment worthwhile!! LOL!!

Meet Kitten Little! (that used to be MY nickname, but it fits him better) Kitten's a bit suspicious of the new pals replacing his six siblings... But soon Kitten Little decides they're not so bad after all... Mmmmm, a warm saucer of milk and Mommy's coonskin cap - Kitten Heaven!

Kitten likes to be close to Mommy or Daddy at all times - even bathtime! Clarkey's good at getting Kitten to nap - or is it the other way 'round? We found just the thing for hands-free Kitten-toting - one of my furry backpacks! I hardly get any sleep with Kitten in our bed - I'm so afraid I'll squash him!!

But Clarkey's more rested than ever, with all the extra naptimes he's getting! Woohoo, nippytime! Hm, this doesn't smell anything like my mom, but it tastes yummy!! Well, this doesn't smell like mom either, but I think I could get used to sleeping here! I took Kitten Little out to the pet store for treats, and she slept right through it!

Help! MOM!! There's a SMALLER furry thing heading straight for my food bowl!! I don't care if Hamlet IS my new step-brother - make him stop eating my food!! Kitten Little naps soundly while Mom plays her nightly rounds of Unreal Tournament... Isn't he precious?? Boy, it sure is hard work being a kitten - so much excitement!!
