Asia on the E! Channel

Asia was interviewed to be part of a special called "Women of the Net" by the E! Channel (a cable TV network in the US). The interview took place on April 10, 1998 and was first aired on June 21, 1998. In Asia's 8 minute segment, she described her history, career and, most importantly, her website.

Asia's "Appassionata" piano playing was used as music during the closing credits (570 kB). Asia is also seen for a second on a balcony.

Asia was on E!, again

E! did a sequel show called "Tales of the Web," and in it, they did a quick segment updating the lives of the people in the first show. The interview for this show took place on December 8, 1998 and first aired February 14, 1999. You can download the roughly 2-minute clip in RealVideo format (1.7 MB).

In the fall of 2006, the E! channel interviewed Asia for their show about celebrities who went from triumph to tragedy to recovery. The show first aired in June 2007. Screenshots and a transcript of the piece are here.
