OMG I think I'm about to subject you to like 30 pictures, which is a major record for me, but we were also away for almost 3 weeks, so 10 pics per week isn't SO bad, is it? *hopeful smile*

The flight out was great. It was long, but painless. I put Devin to sleep by my feet, and Catty to sleep across their seats, and we were good to go!

The place was spotless when we arrived, but it didn't take long for my kids to trash it. About 15 minutes, I think.

This was the view from the computer. Terrible, I know, but I suffered through it.

Some of the trip was very hard on me emotionally, because I'd never stayed on this side of the island before, and we were now close to places I hadn't seen since Don was alive.

Flashback:

Flashback:

The good -

The bad - (I leave out a bowl of healthy fruit for snacks, and find this...)

And the ugly - (Apparently the Kona Brewing Co makes some pretty potent stuff, because this guy was hurling chunks in front of my kids at 11am, LOL...)

Random pics...

We gave our big box of cereal to a homeless person - the ducks were not amused with the meager rations from our kiddy-sized box.

I was very excited to find a real coconut on the beach for Catty to pick up and bring home! She dropped it, screaming. I have no explanation for this, but she will probably have a lifelong fear of coconuts now:

This evil cat's name was Stella, and boy, did she hate my guts! I would cuddle her and get nothing but growls and vicious hisses, but Catty could drag her around like a rag doll, and kitty would purr and beg for more. Go figure.

Oh, and Catty renamed her "Stumpy". I'll let you guess why.

I found a way to keep the kids in one place so I could have a swim or take a nap...

I paid a small fortune to let the kids open oysters to find pearls. Catty found an extremely rare large blue pearl that means "wisdom". Anyone surprised? LOL! Devin found a nice fat white pearl that signifies happiness. I only wish I had enough money left over to buy myself a pearl, DOH...

We had people asking if the kiddos were twins, and some who couldn't tell which one was the older sibling. I've been looking for a way to get Catty to eat more - this has been just the ticket, LOL!!

Admit it - you want to move to Hawaii just so you can eat here.

The "twins" plotting how to catch koi with their bare hands. I would never have done anything like this as a kid. I swear.

The kiddos at Sea Life park. Pretty pic. Not very amusing. Sorry.

Would you like some cheese with that whine?

Yup, just as you suspected - ex-pornstars can't cook worth a darn. My kids are eating ramen here, and they are happy for a hot meal.

Catty is an animal lover like her mommy. Here she is, kissing a crab. A real crab, yup, one with pinchers. It did not pinch her. I guess crabs know when you are just spreading the love...

Catty's pet jellyfish. (Hey, in Utah Miss Animal Lover likes to play with roaches, so jellyfish are actually a big improvement!)

Catty tried to tell me crabs have 9 legs. I said "No, Catty, there are no animals that have 9 legs." "But MOMMY, CRABS have 9 legs!" I am going to write a complaint to the company that made this puzzle piece.

Somebody please tell me your kid does stupid things like get completely trapped behind the couch and then just laugh about being stuck?

Well, all good things must come to an end.

Good-bye Hawaii...

And now all that's left is the unpacking! Oops! Now you know the secret to how I get such cheap flights...

I'm sorry it was so long - I had to go through over 360 pics to find these ones to share with you! Thanks for looking!!!

XXXOOO me and Catty and Gooey!
